Summer Closures
The Parent & Toddler Group has now closed for the summer and will re-open on Monday 1st September. We would like to wish all our little stars a great summer and we will be thinking of those starting pre-school nursery towards the end of the year!

The Youth Club has also closed for the summer and will re-open on the 9th September. Boxing sessions are now closed until September and we will update the website when it re-opens also during September.

40 Years Volunteering Award

Arnie Butterfield, Centre Manager celebrated 40 years volunteering last month and was recognised on his birthday with two platinum awards from Ambition and Yorkshire Clubs for Young People. He was also presented with a golden plaque, which will be placed on the sensory room door. Congratulations Arnie!

Fairy Day

The toddler group was visited by the National Media Museum last month who delivered a fascinating story about the Cottingley Fairies. Each child was also presented with a pair of special fairy wings to customise.

Thanks to Brooke and Mandy for coming along to our group.

Teddy Bears’ Picnic

Our toddlers also enjoyed a fun day in the sun at the teddy bears’ picnic when they were visited by a friendly bear and took part in a best-dressed bear competition!
