World Cup Youth Activities
We had a busy and exciting month at the Sedbergh Centre last
month and we are looking forward to an even busier June! Excitement is in the
air as England prepare for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, that’s due to
start on 12th June. We will be celebrating at our Tuesday night Youth
Club where children can take part in lots of
great World Cup related activities.
Here at the Sedbergh Centre we are continually fundraising to help with costs and the running of the centre. To do this we need a number of items to use as prizes. We can use new quality items such as gift sets, books, DVDs, ornaments and accessories as well as baked items we can use or sell at our sessions and stalls. The Sedbergh Centre is a totally self-funded registered charity and relies on donations to keep providing our activities and resources, which are very well attended at present.
Please note that due to holidays the Youth Club will be closed from Tuesday 20th May and will re-open on Tuesday 10th June.
Toddler Time!
There’s lots going on at the Sedbergh Centre Parent &
Toddler group this month including the annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic on Thursday 19th June and Fairy Day on Thursday 26th June. All sessions are for parents and toddlers aged 0-5
years at £1.50 per child (2nd child 50p) and run from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Recycle4Charity
Can you help us raise money for the centre by donating your empty printer cartridges, old mobile phones or toner cartridges? The service is free and we can provide freepost envelopes or you can drop them in at the centre. We have already raised £23.50 by doing absolutely nothing! This simple idea helps Sedbergh Community Centre and the environment with no cost to you. Please call us on 01274 679843 if you think you can help.
Perhaps your place of work will collect cartridges for us.
