Fully Funded Courses
If you are interested in a fully funded course (accredited by ncfe, CACHE, Ascentis) through Learning Curve we are holding an induction (subject to numbers) on Friday 21st September from 10-12 noon at the Sedbergh Centre, Huddersfield Road, Odsal. To qualify for the free course you should be 19 years old or over and be a UK resident which means you have had permanent lawful residency in the UK/EU for the last 3 consecutive years. If you are not an EU/UK National, you will need to provide evidence of current immigration status. Prior qualifications may effect eligibility so you must not have completed any part of the requested qualifications previously. A withdrawal fee of a maximum of £125 is charged if you enrol onto a course and fail to complete without genuine reason.
The induction will last approx. 90 minutes to 2 hours and will include a mandatory 15 minutes math and English assessment (this is not a test). You will need to bring identification to the induction such as a valid passport, UK drivers licence, visa or birth certificate.
If you would like to register for induction please let me know which qualification you would like to take and include a 2nd and 3rd choice if applicable. Please also let me know your full name and date of birth. After induction the course is very straightforward and will be completed at home from your course book which you will be given on the day or soon after.

Funding for Community Projects
Sport Works is a social enterprise aiming to improve the health and well-being of Yorkshire communities. They have a great track record of securing external funding to facilitate a range of projects and are now looking to work with Yorkshire schools and organisations who are interested in supporting health-based programmes from the heart of their communities. If your group or charity would benefit from fully funded activities we would be pleased to hear from you to discuss how we could work together. We would love to hear from local groups/charities that are already making a real difference in the community and are especially keen to work with groups who support individuals with mental health difficulties, black, ethnic and minority community groups, economically disadvantaged, elderly residents and people with disabilities. Please get in touch now for an informal chat to see how we can work together - contact Managing Director, Simon Leonard on 01274 800 547 or email simon@sportworksltd.co.uk
