We Salute You Join up Today
Volunteers’ Week takes place from 1st – 12th June this year and we thought it was the perfect opportunity to launch our brand new Sedbergh Volunteering Campaign. The Sedbergh Centre has a great tradition of volunteering and as a charity we rely on our brilliant team, many of whom give up their spare time to support and develop our clients. We have a number of opportunities for members of the local community to get involved with youth work, befriending, sessional work, leafleting, DIY/gardening and helping out in the café and at galas.
If you are aged 16 years upwards and would like to join our team in a voluntary capacity we would love to hear from you now!
We are also introducing a Reward & Recognition scheme solely for our committed volunteers who help out on a regular basis (20-weeks or more).
21 million people volunteer in the UK alone and make a BIG difference to many people and the communities they live in. So we would like to invite you to join us - whether you want to get involved with activities for children, paint a room or simply sit down for a cup of tea and a chat with someone older we would love to hear from you.
