The Sedbergh Centre’s Parent & Toddler group
re-opens this month on Monday 1st September after a short summer
break. Also re-opening are boxing sessions on Monday 8th September
and the Youth Club on Tuesday 9th September. We hope to see you
there!
Look what you did!
We recently asked for your help by
donating gifts and items for our fund-raising tombolas that we held at various
fairs over the region (some windier than others!). Thanks to YOU we were able
to use these wonderful items as prizes and raised a massive £1500! This money
will be used to provide activities and resources to our community. Some of the
fairs we attended were: Brighouse
Gala, Birkenshaw, Donkey
Derby, Hebden
Bridge and Trawden
Special thanks also to Jill, Sharon, Mick, Matthew, Olive and Robin for
helping out on the days and to Hallmark Cards for their generous donation.
Would you like to get involved with the Sedbergh Centre’s Christmas fayre? We need lots of volunteers for the day (November 29th) helping out on stalls and we are also looking for some entertainment. In addition we need donations of general gifts, chocolates, food and bottles to make up some hamper prizes. If you can help in anyway, please give us a call on 01274 679843. Thank you!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Come along to the Macmillan Coffee
morning at the Sedbergh Centre on Friday 3rd October from 10:00 - 12:00 and raise some
valuable funds for a very worthy cause. This event will be held in memory of Peter Dickinson
