Young
Volunteers Make a Splash
On Friday 17th
August, young volunteers met up at the Sedbergh Centre to wash the toddler toys
ready for the re-opening of the Parent & Toddler sessions on the 3rd
September. It was amazing to see
how these lovely young people pulled together and got through hundreds of toys
and equipment. Thank you so much to
every single one of you. We hope you enjoyed your ice creams and will be very
proud of your certificates.
Barchester’s Boat Trip Makes Big Difference
On the 29th
August, we were able to take out some of our clients on a lovely canal cruise
and meal. Clients from our Young at Heart group and young volunteers from the
SAY #iwill project took a mini bus to Skipton and boarded The Dalesman for a
trip along the Leeds/Liverpool canal. We would like to thank the Barchester’s
Charitable Foundation for making this possible and of course all our wonderful
volunteers for helping on the day.
