We are currently asking for donations of small gift prizes and chocolates for our activities here at the centre. If you can help please let me know or call the centre on 01274 679843.

The Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre would like to say a big thank you to the Sedbergh School Chapel for their generous donation of £892.46 from their speech day service collection.

Big Lunch BBQ

The Sedbergh Centre Big Lunch BBQ was great fun last month when members of the local community got together for a bite to eat. We had sunshine for most of the day and offered quizzes and raffled a splendid cake just for the occasion.

Thank you to Jillean Gregory for the fabulous baking and to the Stronger Communities Team for contributing to this great event.

It really was fantastic to see so many of you come out and take part in the Great Get Together. Here’s to the next one!

 Gentlemen’s Club

We would like to ask your thoughts about the possibility of holding a regular Gentlemen’s Club here at the Sedbergh Centre. We envisage it to take place straight after the Wednesday Lunch Club from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. offering a base for local gents to get together for social activities such as pool, dominoes, cards or even just to watch TV or read the paper. We can facilitate a group but would like it to be shaped by our community. So if you are interested in attending, know someone who may benefit or would like to volunteer please get in touch with us to let us know. There would be a small charge for admin purposes. Thank you  - Lucy
