As summer comes to a close and the days get a little quieter for some of you; it starts to get busier here at the centre. With the Summer Activity Scheme over, our normal sessions have now resumed and we have also introduced some new cheerleading sessions for children aged 8-12 years. We are also thinking about Christmas as we get ready for our annual fund-raiser in November. You can see all the activities we have on offer in the What’s On column opposite and keep your eyes peeled for some fun theme days coming up over the next couple of months.

Christmas Fair Appeal

As usual we will be bringing you a festive filled Christmas Fair in November with lots of stalls, activities and of course Santa will be paying us a visit where you can see him in his brand new grotto!

We’ve got lots of exciting things planned so we hope you will come along and join us on Saturday 19^th November.

It is a very busy time for us at the moment as we begin to plan what we hope will be a most spectacular event and we would like to ask your help in collecting donations for our raffle. If you have any unwanted gifts or bottles you would like to donate we will be very grateful. Please call us on 01274 679843 if you can help or drop in and see us!

Olympics at Sedbergh

With the Olympics very much in the news last month, we decided to hold our own themed event at our weekly Young at Heart group. Clients took part in their own mini tournament including javelin, shotput and discus events. You can see the lovely Gold Medal winner Doreen left with her medal and prizes. The Young at Heart group is for adults and takes place on Wednesdays from 1-3 pm. Admission is £1.
