Easter Activity Scheme & Sign-up Day
We are delighted to welcome back the popular Activity Scheme which will run at the Sedbergh Centre from Tuesday 29th March until Friday 8th April, 9 am – 3 pm. The Ofsted registered program is for children aged 5 – 11 years or up to 16 years if a disability or learning difficulty is present. Submission is £12 per child per day. Advance bookings only please by ringing 01274 727233.
Easter Closures While the activity scheme runs from 29th March – 8th April the following activities and sessions will be temporarily closed. They will re-open from Monday 11th April. All other sessions will remain open apart from on Good Friday (25th March) and Easter (Monday 28th March). Parent & Toddlers on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, Community Café on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays & Job Club on Fridays.
Sovereign Health Care has generously funded the Sedbergh Centre’s Young at Heart group for the next quarter. The group takes place weekly on a Wednesday from 1 – 3 pm for the over fifties. Our clients enjoy quizzes, games, Bingo, raffles and activity days. Admission is £1 & includes refreshments. Thank you Sovereign Health Care!
March Photo Competition
We would like to invite everyone to enter our FREE photo competition. This month’s competition is (yes you guessed it) MARCH! The winning entries will earn a place in the Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre 2017 calendar so by entering you are giving us publication permission.
There are lots of opportunities this month to take some great snaps including mother’s day, daffodils, snow and Easter or why not take some pics enjoying activities at the centre? Please email entries to sedberghcommunitycentre@yahoo.co.uk by 31st March. The photos will be judged by the Sedbergh team on originality and impact. Photos must be current and copyright of the entrant. If the photo involves another person we will require a photo release form from them which we can supply. All winning photos may be published in newsletters and online.
