Sedbergh Goes Solar!
Hello
everyone, we are very excited to announce that we have been shortlisted in the
Marks and Spencer Energy competition with a chance to win solar panels for our
community centre! However, we need your help with voting as we are up against
five other groups in our region. It would be fantastic to be able to install
solar panels as we can save more money in the future to enable us to help more
people as well as being able to make a positive environmental impact in our own
small way. All you have to do is visit the website https://www.mandsenergyfund.com/project/27341/ register & vote!
PLEASE INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE FOR US TOO!
Parent & Toddlers re-opens 7th
September with some changes
We’re pleased to announce that our Parent &
Toddlers group will re-open on Monday 7th September. We’re still able to offer 3-sessions per
week: Mon 9:15 – 11:15 and Tues/Thurs 1:00 – 3:00 with no price increase at
£1.50 per child. We are introducing a healthier option by offering fruit
snacks/toast & water which will replace juice/hot beverages & biscuits.
However we will be opening our Community Café from 2-3pm every Thursday for
those who will miss their coffee/chocolate fix!
You can help Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre raise
funds by donating empty ink cartridges and unwanted mobile phones. Each empty
cartridge could fetch £1! All you have to do is drop empty cartridges/mobiles into
the centre or request some freepost bags and send off your empties for us! Acceptable cartridges are: HP, Canon, Dell, Lexmark,
Neopost and Samsung. These must not have been previously refilled or have any
damage such as holes.
