The
holiday season may nearly be over but this week at the Sedbergh Centre we’re
bringing the seaside to you! The Carers’ Café, Young at Heart group and
Community Café will all have a sunny theme this week and we will be offering
some summer holiday activities. The Carers’ Café is open to all carers and
gives some well-deserved respite to those who look after others. At this
months’ Carers' Café there will be some great entertainment and lovely snacks and
drinks. The
Young at Heart group is for the over fifties and this week you can enjoy ice
creams, biscuits, cakes and drinks and even take part in some seaside crafts
and activities. And
don’t forget the Community Café on Friday from 10:00 – 12:00 where you can buy some
delicious home baked cakes, biscuits and speciality coffees and drinks.

everyone who supported the Sedbergh Youth & Community by putting tokens in
our slot at Asda Wyke. We are very pleased to let you know we won £200 for
equipment and resources. A big thank you also goes out to Matthew Metcalfe and
of course ASDA Wyke who made this possible!
We are still
looking for donations of gifts and bottles for our Christmas Fayre – so if
you have anything you think we could use please let us know!
