Sedbergh Job Club
The Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre now has a weekly Job Club! This club is a non-profit group aiming to provide additional support for local jobseekers. If you are interested in joining us, call into the centre on a Friday morning between 10:00 – 12:00. We are also very interested in working with local businesses and agencies, so please contact us if you would like to partner up.
We offer: Job search assistance, sign-posting to training/volunteering, application form support, CV building, mock interviews, interview techniques & presentation skills sessions. We provide: Free Internet access, laptop use, printing facilities, café & meet-up area.
Last month we asked for you to vote for us for the Aviva Community Fund Awards so we could buy an outdoor play area for the centre. Well you didn’t fail us! With 726 votes we are now through to the finals so fingers crossed we should have some good news for you in the next issue of the newsletter.

Sedbergh Helps Wyke Foodbank
The Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre is proud to announce that it is now a collection point for the Wyke foodbank. The foodbank helps local families and individuals in crisis with the provision of emergency food supplies. If you would like to donate to this worthwhile cause then please visit http://wyke.foodbank.org.uk/ to see what they are asking for and drop any of these items off at our centre.
