Job Club

The Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre Job Club is a brand new group for those looking for work. Running alongside the community cafe you can simply use the Internet Cafe to search for jobs whilst enjoying a delicious drink and cake in a comfortable setting or you can speak to us about updating your CV or how to improve your interview skills. We can even try to support you with voluntary work opportunities or to sign-post you for training. Come and speak to us on a one-to-one basis or within a group.

Community Cafe - this Friday!

The Sedbergh Community Cafe is open on Friday from 10:00 - 12:00. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a selection of drinks, toasted teacakes, buns and biscuits at very reasonable prices! You can take advantage of FREE WIFI and Internet Cafe and take part in a fun quiz. Alongside our usual menu this week's specials are: Sedbergh Surprise! A delicious hot chocolate drink, enveloped in cream and marshmallows, topped off with a chocolate flake and Sedbergh Shake! A strawberry milkshake topped with cream, marshmallows and chocolate. We hope to see you there.

Aviva Community Fund - thank you to everyone who voted!

Last month we asked you to vote in the Aviva Community Fund Awards to enable us to fund an outside play area for our young clients and help make a positive difference to our community. With 726 votes we hope we are in with a good chance of winning.

WANTED - Unwanted Gifts
We are still looking for gifts for our in-house fund-raising activities. If you have anything you would like to donate we will be very pleased to take them off your hands.
